George Best 1946-2005

Manchester United and Northern Ireland legend George Best passed away aged 59. George Best was one of the greatest players to ever wear the red shirt of Man United and known to be one of the greatest British player ever. One of the best dribblers of the ball and a pure soccer genius. He will be remembered by all football fans over the world and especially the legions of Manchester United fans worldwide. A Legend in football. George Best 1946-2005.

Smackdown vs Raw 2006 Review

I've finally got my Playstation 2 repaired and got my hands on the latest games - Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (Winning Eleven 9) and Smackdown vs Raw 2006. Since everyone is an ardent WWE fan I'll write a short review on the game.

I haven't really played the game much, just a few matches. Here's what I observed. New matches such as 'Buried Alive' and 'Over the top rope Battle Royal' have been added. The new game is also more challenging than its predecessors after implementing the 'stamina' mode. Also, the finishers can now be executed differently. By differently, I mean the player can choose to store the finisher icon and execute it later (less damage) or use it on the spot (higher damage). Some buttons have also been changed, e.g the irish whip move was done pressing O, -> last tme. This time round, the controls are Triangle, O.

As for the graphics, I felt that this new series is abit overdone. The facial and body expressions are too exaggerating and the entrances take like 2mins per person. The roster is not very impressive either. It is not updated enough and noticeable absentees include Ken Kennedy and a few others I'm lazy to name. The roster however included redundant characters like Eugene, William Regal, Daivari and Hassan. Eddie Guerrero who recently passed away is in the game and his stats are excellent. His nephew Chavo Guerrero is in it too. A surprise entry in the roster is Hulk Hogan.

In my humble opinion, games such as Winning Eleven gets better each year but the Smackdown series seem to be getting worse. Their so-called improvements are the downside of the game. But still a game not to be missed. There's all I can say for now. I'll rate it a 7.5/10

Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005

Eddie Guerrero aged 38 has passed away. We, Evolution would like to offer our condolences to the Guerrero family. He's the man and the fans will never forget him. Thank you for all the great moments over the years, you will not be forgotten.

There is nothing going on within the ranks. No internal strife or anything.

Today was a lesson that a small misunderstanding can cause paranoia so don't let it happen in the future.
